BRIGHT red bleeding...

How long should this last?

I'm 13 days out from my c/s and I'm still bright red with clots. I don't remember it lasting this long before. But I'm also taking care of all five kids alone during the day right now, so overdoing it might be why it's persisting.

4 weeks out and i just stopped bleeding a few days ago. Today is actually the first day that I haven't worn a pad.

Not from your DDC....but, with my first child I bled for 11 weeks because I didn't rest/take it easy enough. I think it really matters how much activity you are doing.

yeah that! I bled for 6weeks for my first. This one I'm on my third week. But when your getting clots you need to get some extra rest. As long as you have no fever or chills your good.

i had bleeding on and off for a month because i didn't take it easy and it wore me out! i am no longer bleeding 6 weeks out but i am now taking it easy because about 2 weeks ago i really felt like i had been hit by a truck and was just wiped out!

I will be four weeks pp tomorrow, and am done bleeding altogether. I think I only bled bright red and clots for the first week or two, and then it was much milder unless I over did it, and tehn the bright red would start again. Take it easy mama!

I will be 5 weeks PP on Monday and I am still bleeding. I do very much take it easy. I have help with my children and additional help around the clock with the baby. I think it depends on your body. I feel great, just still bleeding.

4 weeks tomorrow and still bleeding quite a bit. I have been doing more lately so I know that's contributing to it, but I wish it would stop already!

I bled for 7 weeks with my daughter--the bright red lasted at least 5 weeks, though. But, looking back, I think it's because I was ALL OVER THE PLACE after she was born. I never sat down because I had been so debilitated by pregnancy that once she was born--I couldn't sit still. So maybe all the other posters are right about being very active?
