Toy related question for the no microwave folks...

Think I can put one of those pouches from a snuggly toy in the oven to warm up, rather than in a microwave? I don't own a microwave, but my daughter has a lambie that has a rye/spelt pouch inside...

Would it be safe in a warm oven on a sheet or something for a few minutes??

It would be awfully silly to buy a microwave just for this purpose.

I heat up a rice filled heat pack in my toaster oven, I put it on a metal cookie sheet and just make sure ntohing is touching the heating elements.

When I purchased a fancy "rice sock" (only this was sewn with nice fabric and stuffed with assorted sweet smelling herbs) the instructions said to either microwave for 2 minutes, or to wrap well in foil and place in a warm oven on a cookie sheet for half an hour.
