What a fantastic list we have going!

We start next week with MaWhit.

If you'd like you can start your thread with some basics about your family, schooling philosphy, how you came to hsing, etc.

After that just use the thread to write about a week in your world. Your week can be Sunday to Saturday, Monday to Friday, heck it can be Wednesday to Tuesday, whatever works. Others can chime in with comments and questions on the same thread.

PM me if you want a particular upcoming week, otherwise I'll just go in thread order with the invites. Of course, if your invite comes at a bad time, no problems we'll just move on and return to you at a better time.

Oh, and if you are reading this thread for the first time and want to add your name to the list, go ahead!

Questions?

When it's your week, start your own thread when you are ready!

Thanks for being willing to kick us off. (MaWhit graciously accepted the challenge of *first* when I asked.)

quick question

I remember the spotlights here being primarily monologues-- like week-long blogs about that family's homeschooling life. My DDC is also doing spotlight threads, but they're very different--people are asking the spotlighted person questions, about whatever springs to mind. Will these be more like the first set, or will there be more dialogue? Or is that up to the individual posting for the week?

I'd like to just watch & decide later about jumping in :

I'd love it if there were more dialogue. I love to answer questions and get feedback on our activities. SOmeone always has a great idea or thought-provoking question.

I see these as a blend. The OP will blog (monologue), but other posters will be inspired to comment or ask questions about the blog.

Hi - I'd like to be in too!

I'm in. This'll be fun to read about everyone. Being new to it, I'm voracious to know how and what other's do.

Thanks for the great idea!
