Super, super active baby - sign of impending labor?

At 39w2d, I'm tempted to think EVERYTHING is a sign of impending labor, :

Last night this baby was seriously having a PARTY in my belly! I haven't felt movement like this for months! I'm just wondering if any of you have experienced this as a precursor to labor...

Well, I don't know, but I hope so! this baby was REALLY active last night too. Plus I was having contractions and backache. But then again, I won't even be 39 weeks until Monday so....
I honestly don't remember how active my other 3 were just before going into labor. ANd I can't remember how I was physically/emotionally before going onto labor. But I am taking everything as a sign too.
Tender breasts? The baby must be coming!
Lack of appetite? The baby must be coming?
Diarrhea? The baby must be coming!
Grumpy and hormonal? The baby must be coming?
But... all this has been going on for a while now and obviously the baby is not here.
