My sis and I read thru many of them a few yrs back...I think I stopped halfway thru one because of a vacation or something and then didn't pick it back up. I think I'll start again!

Yes! I've read all twelve. I've also read the 3 prequels, which I liked even better. The only one I haven't read yet is the newest: Kingdom Come.

I read the whole series, and loved it. I started the first book while DD was in the NICU - whenever I see those books I think of pumping breastmilk at the hospital, eating an apple, and reading Left Behind.

I've found they aren't too popular on MDC...I'm glad that there are some others here that got sucked into them like I did.

I think I got tired near the end...I read them all in pretty quick succession. Jesus took entirely too long to show up in the last book, and I gave up. I'll pick it up again one day.

I read the first one. I'm a HUGE fan of speculative fiction (often known as science fiction or fantasy) so i read a lot of post apocalyptic type scenarios on a regular basis. the Left behond book really didn't measure up in terms of writing, characters, etc. Probably if I was more in line with the bacing ideaology I'd like it better; but on a purely spec fic basis, meh, not so great.
