Why oh why is it 95 degrees in Sept in NE??

Seriously, I can't do this anymore.

I'm beyond hot, I'm starting to get that really tired end stage, and I've had a few things happen over the past day or so that doesn't help things...I'm just a big puddle!!

I finally broke down and turned on the window unit a/c's running, but, I'm still just not feeling so good. And it doesn't help that we are surrounded by fires (2 mini forest fires, and the marsh down the street just went up, again.) So, not only is it hot, but it stinks. And the smell is making me

thanks for reading...

I KNOW! I KNOW! It is just as bad here. It is so frigging humid, I want to scream. And I am a total sweathog. My house usually stays pretty cool (we have alot of shade) but today it is so stuffy. I am going to hibernate in the bedroom and do some reading or something while (hopefully) DH waits on me hand and foot. I had seen in the Boston Herald yesterday that it was going to be hot down there but usually it is a bit cooler here- not today. I can't wait till fall is really here.

I love the heat! But I am starting to slow down a bit these days. I don't have as much energy at the playground when it's so hot as I used to. But I still really enjoy it.

Yes, girls, NH isn't any better. Today was a bad day... I'm sick of being sweaty and hot and my part of town stinks when it's above 70 degrees with that kinda humidity. Nice of our landlords to let us know the wastewater plant is around the corner and it smells like portapotty 5 months out of the year! Gosh, I can't wait to get outta here...

Southern Ohio here...and it's ridiculous! It seems we've been over 95 degrees for the entire summer with many days over 100.

I just can't wait for it to get cooler so people quit thinking I'm huge for how far along I am. Uhm...I only have a couple more months! ARGH! People still think November is so far away. Which makes sense since it feels like July outside and not September.

Hopefully it cools off soon!

Right there with ya! Somehow, I feel alot better on those rare days the temps dip a little. I came home from my horrible doc apnt today (see my other post) to find that DH had turned the AC off: Ugh, it is a little cooler, but so so sticky! Come on fall!

So glad to know I'm not alone!!

But, ugh, mittendrin...I though the burning fire smell was bad - I would so have to move if I had to smell that!

I hate living here. I was happy that it cooled ALL THE WAY DOWN to 103. *Snark*

It is Saturday morning now and already stifling. I have to work in that stupid hot kitchen, too. Behind me will be the grill, the flattop, the griddle, and the stovetop (8 burners). In front of me will be the heat lamps and the steam table. How lucky am I?? Dang work. I am going to sit in the freezer for the day!

It's been such a relief to have the heat lessen in our area. July was just miserable--over 100 almost every single day. We saw it drop by almost 10 degrees in August, from the mid to low 90s, and now that it's September, we're in the 80s.

Soooooo much better!
