Looking for a good quick yoga video

I would really like to do some yoga at home. I have found the yoga zone videos and really like them. The problem is that I often don't have a whole hour to dedicate to a video.

Does anyone know of a yoga video that is half an hour?

Thanks!

If you have cable, there is show called Yoga Zone on a couple of times every morning on the Discovery Health channel. You could tape them. Then, in addition to having a 1/2 hour workout, you would also have a nice variety of different workouts.

Hi OneHip
I have some excellent half hour yoga tapes I bought on ebay by Lilias Folan-she is an excellent yoga instructor, I used to watch her yoga show on PBS when I was a little girl in the 70's!! There is a tape called Serenity Now that absolutely is fantastic...
look her name up on Ebay, that's what I did. Just a suggestion

Living Arts makes a set of tapes 'AM/PM yoga' . It's 2 different tapes each about 15min long. I've only done the AM tape so far. It's with Rodney Yee and I like it a lot. I do it early, before anyone else gets up.

Hey, OneHipMomma, there's a great yoga tape called Ali McGraw, Yoga Mind and Body with Erich Schiffman instructing. It is an hour long but you can choose to do only the first 15-20 minutes or so which are warm up cat-dog tilt stretches and then Sun Salutations A and B. For a busy mom, just doing a series of Sun Salutations is a great way to exercise the body and calm the mind. Namaste............Danielle

I too like the AM/PM Yoga tapes. Kripalu Yoga - Gentle with Carolyn Lundeen is also good -- the tape contains two approx. 30 minute routines -- it's my favorite at the moment!

Wow, thanks for all the responses

I have requested the am/pm yoga videos at the library. I am # 7 in line so they may take a while.

Thanks again!

I second the motion for Kripalu Gentle Yoga with Carolyn Lundeen (Sudha). As a side-note, if you ever have the chance to do a yoga program with Sudha at the Kripalu Center itself, by all means take advantage of it! I've done three programs with her over the years, and she is absolutely fabulous.

The Living Arts series is currently at CostCo for about $9 a tape. I have bought 3 of them so far and like them a lot (esp. Rodney Yee. wink wink!). They have everything from beginner tapes to yoga for athletes, yoga for strength, relaxation, etc. etc. Also there's an early morning yoga show on my PBS station-- can't remember the name of it right now but it features a Hawaiian woman with a soothing voice and accent and beautiful backgrounds. It's on at 6 AM local time. If I can figure out how to program the VCR I'll try to start taping them.

My main problem right now is that Abi likes to climb on me when I'm doing the asanas. Try doing Downward Dog or Bridge with someone climbing on you! Makes for better balance I suppose!
