round ligament pain?

I think this came up briefly in a bigger "symptom" thread, but I am starting a whole new one dedicated just to round ligament pain. Anyone else getting this already? I am sure that's what it is, it feels the same as with my first pregnancy. I was getting it a few times on the right the other day, today it is concentrated on the left and I even get a little one-second "stitch" when I laugh too hard!

But isn't it very early to feel this, like even for second time around?

I had a feeling I was pregnant because a few nights before I tested I rolled over in my sleep and was woken up by round ligament pain. I don't know if it's normal or not, but I'm definitely already feeling it. I have to be careful how I stand up from a sitting position. I felt it pretty early with my 2nd pregnancy as well.

I was shocked I felt it so early this time too. I'm only 5.5 weeks and I totally feel it. I wonder if its because our muscles have already been stretched? I dont know.

I get round ligament a lot! I try to drink more water when I feel it.

I drink TONS of water throughout the day and still get it! It happens the most when I jump up from a low chair or a couch too fast. I tend to get a burst of energy and jump then I'm writhing in pain!

Yeah, I am not sure if drinking water really helps or not, but I know it can't hurt.

I know the writhing in pain feeling well. Ah.......the joys of pregnancy!

Yep...here too! I have found it to be kind of a pleasant reminder (because the immediate pain is short-lived) that I AM pregnant! I'll take that reminder any day over Morning Sickness!!
