Negative BF Commons on Dayton Ohio Craig's List

I was surfing our local Craig's list in Dayton Ohio, and came upon a huge amount of posts on the rants/raves about breastfeeding (most being against).

One of the posts was even an attorney, saying that although it is illegal, it is discusting and that it will soon be illegal.

Go down to Sept. 2 heading, then look up 5 posts (this is the second to last message), my response is going to be towards the very top of the page.

They also go back several days before the second, so go to the next set of 100 posts.

Wow. Gotta love the post dedicated to correcting grammar and punctuation. It really makes that person seem like he/she has a valid arguement since his/her rebuttal is "you are stupid."

As for the original post, I feel very bad for the poor little five year old who was so traumatized by the appearance of boobs. However, he should blame his parents for making him believe that boobs are sexual and bad, not the breastfeeders.

Eh, the craigslist discussion forums aren't exactly a brain trust, IMO. And remember that anyone can claim to be anything - doctor, lawyer, grand pooh-bah of the pooh-bah nation - but could also be a 14-year-old boy talking out of his behind.

I'd recommend avoiding a battle of wits with unarmed persons. It's like trying to teach a pig to sing: frustrating for you and irritating for the pig.

(And now I wonder how many more cliches I could include in this post ...)

Ugh, why did I even look????

I started to react to the negativity and then thought to myself "Nothing I post here is going to have any impact. Continuing to read is just going to upset me. I'm going to shut this down."

And I did.

And I feel much better.

Wow, it's interesting that that one guy accused everyone else of basically being uneducated. Hmm... a closed mind is so unattractive! Yeh, I had to close it down because I was feeling my blood start to boil.
