I have a gift certificate for $20 from a girl at work for the cloth diaper store next to work. I went in, ready to spend it on whatever tickled my fancy. I got in there, stood for a half hour or so, and left with NOTHING. Not a single thing. I am so flipping cheap, I can't stand it.

You'll have to wait for a good sale. Eventually something will catch your eye. Oh, and look at it this way, you could totally splurge on something cute that you normally wouldn't because if it's $30, it's really only costing you $10! But I really do understand. What an awesome present!

I am like that too. If I don't have a lot of money to spend, I tend to hold off on spending because it might not be the perfect thing and maybe I will regret it, you know? So instead, I get nothing!

I do the same thing too! I am so cheap. I'm trying to get better about it, though, because I have tons of unused gift cards for this reason.

I can so relate... I got a pier 1 gift cert from my mom a while ago. I've used it on so many piddly little things that went on clearance... I'm going to make myself buy nice cloth though!

The good news is, I was about to buy infant prefolds (unbleached) for $1.50/ea at the store and she only had a few till the next shipment came in. Well, I just got 2 dozen for $10 (plus $10 shipping) on the TP! The store had some reeealllyy cute happy hineys but I may just get some cute covers instead.

We are doing mostly PF's and one-size because I am trying to do this on a budget, but I am really about to go completely nuts and buy out the store. DH is becoming a problem- he keeps saying "just buy them! BUY THEM- we can always sell them later on and they will save us in the long run!" because money apparently grows on trees... he is encouraging my habit!
