80 days

Another "just had to share" thread. I figured out on Monday that I had about 80 days left until baby... 70 to my due date of 11/12 plus the extra 10 until Thanksgiving that I am figuring in. It keeps running through my head... 80 more days...

Holy cow! That does not sound like long at all. Especially since it is more like 75 days now. It is kind of encouraging because I am starting to be in a lot of pain in my hips and pelvis and I'm so tired from not sleeping well. On the other hand it is kind of frightening! I have so much left to do... and what in the world am I going to do with 3 kids?!?

I just can't believe how fast this is going!

I'm with you--After months of every day dragging by, this pregnancy seems to be flying by all of the sudden. DH left for a work trip today, as soon as he gets back we go to his parent's for a week for SIL's wedding, and then I head to Seattle for some meetings. When I get back, I'll have a month or so 'til my EDD. When I realized this the other day, I started to cry about how much I'll miss the rib kicks, sore hips, heartburn... and the generally coolness of experiencing the creation of another human.

It is just nuts to me how fast it is all going! I am down to 63 days until my due date!!!

I'm at 66 days until my due date and I'm thinking she will come right around her EDD, give or take a day or two. That's just my gut feeling, but it could also be wishful thinking, I suppose. DD2 was 4 days early.

Alisha, when is you EDD? Mine is the 14th.

The thing that keeps striking me now is that Halloween ads and catalogs are just EVERYWHERE, and that's right around my EDD. It's only going to get worse when the weather starts to get more fall-like.

EEk, I'm due the 6th/7th....I'm so NOT ready! Seriously, where did all the time go?? Second trimester?? Uhm, did I miss it?? First one took forever as my head was in the toilet...

on a pos note, DH just set up the changing table today so I can start to put dipes somewhere! and if it cools off, we will be unloading some things from the attic tomorrow so I can offically start nesting!!

I have about 63! Eek!

With Dylan, I could easily have waited a few more weeks before I felt ready... but even though I am having an easier pregnancy this time around, I'm starting to feel like I will be ready to be done with it when the time comes. I'm starting to feel very large and puffy.

Most of my home stuff is done, but I need to get my fanny in gear at work! I am WAY behind where I should be before leaving on a 12 week leave.

Hey UH, you and I have the same due date. Are you counting ten days extra in case you go to 42 weeks, is that what you mean?

P.S. How's your CD obsession doing.....mine's still out of control.

Kimmy, I'm due the day before you. Do you have a "normal" as far as when your babies normally come? I think I remember you saying something about 2 weeks early or so, but maybe that was someone else.

My goal is just to get to 37 weeks this time, so that means I have 49 days left! After that, I figure I can relax. Halloween will be a great celebration for me this year!

Alisha, want to be birth buddies? Not sure how that will work if we are both in labor but as I plan on being home, I will be close to a phone and the computer!

My first came on her due date.
2nd Induced 2 weeks early
3rd Induced 2 weeks early
And DS came on his own 2 weeks early. Soooooo I have idea! LOL I have peace in trusting baby will come when baby is ready and it's the worst time for me. So maybe on his brothers birthday, thanksgiving. LOL

I may be getting induced a week early, which makes it 71 more days for me. 2 months sounds like alot but 71 days... YIKES!

Yeah, I've gone 13 and 9 days late before so I am counting on a good extra 10 days past my due date... I know from experience that whatever date I get in my head, I am *really* grumpy once I pass that LOL! So the more time I count on the better for everyone around me...

CD obsession still out of control, but the buying has slowed down as there is less I need now. Also less money to buy things with!

YES!! The local grocery store brought out all the Halloween displays a couple of weeks ago and I started flipping out.

"It can't be Halloween yet - I could have a BABY at Halloween!"

DH is actually hoping the baby comes around that time. He's a NY Giants fan and they don't play 11/4, so he won't miss any football. I'm a Patriots fan, so I tell him the baby will stay in another week - New England's bye week isn't until 11/11.

My DH has requested that I have this baby on a Patriots bye week. Everyone gets a real kick out of it except for me... and for the record, he has registered us for patriots and red sox receiving blankets.

I think it was pretty good timing, considering the NFL schedule doesn't come out until, what, April? My egg was smart enough to anticipate the bye weeks and mature appropriately.
