This is SOOOOO not good!!

They have already started coming now...2 nights now in the last 3 days where I have woken up and had them for 2 hours straight...enough to keep me awake and not get any sleep, but NOT enough to make me doing anything awesome like...lose my mucus plug or anything

THIS IS GOING TO BE TORTURE!!! *waaa*

I seriously expect to be pg for the next 2.5 weeks, posisbly 3.5 and this makes it sooo much worse

I didn't have this with my last baby, I had nothing .....and then labor and baby 1 hour and 58 minutes later.

I wanna just go be put under for the next few weeks please!!

I feel ya!! I too am not expecting baby to show up anytime soon(although due in 6 days)... Last night I couldn't sleep a wink for all the frickety fracken lame-o contractions that piddled and paddled around, making me just uncomfortable enough to want this baby born NOW! No mucus plug here either... Lost mine three weeks in advance of my first child's birth. I come from a family of long-bakers, so I know it's just not gonna happen in a week. Thank goodness I was already awake though... My 3yo son came in around 3am asking for oatmeal. :

I really feel all of you! I am in the exact same boat! I was even convinced things were gonna happen this weekend. I had so many very strong labor singles and I ended up with NOTHING!! It is so frustrating Daytime is not so bad cuz it's easier to keep busy. But once DS goes to bed (6:30) it's like there is nothing to do, or even if there is I'm too dang tired. So I sit around and concentrate on if I'm going into labor or not. Eventually I get bored enough and tired enough I just go to bed and pray myself to sleep, or give a stern talking to this baby telling him to come out already!!
I agree with the sedation till labor request!!

I am *so* in this boat. With each kid I have had this prodromal labor thing worse and worse. It sucks big time! It really makes you physically exhausted and super cranky in the mornings, doesn't it? The one thing I keep telling myself that um....semi-sorta helps , is that I know it is doing *something*. This has been going on since week 36 for me and I'm due Tuesday and likely will be late, but the good thing is that since last Wednesday each day the contrax have slowly gotten more intense. Also noticed that up until Friday, every time I'd have a contraction, my belly would harden lopsided. Like way lop-sided. Then after Friday, I guess babe moved into a better position and now my belly looks normal with a contraction. SO...I guess all that prodromal labor did that.

Takebirthback: I am cracking up at this: "So I sit around and concentrate on if I'm going into labor or not. "

That is me every single night. Hahaha!

whats sad is, I thik I do that daily myself *sigh* It's like each one makes you go...oh, IF ONLY this might be it?! !?!!????? ?!?! maybe?!?!?!...maybe....NOT! :

It's like a sick joke.

See I don't relaly see these contrax doing anything,...
i have this sneaking suspicion that i am closed up tighter than a 50 gallon drum and these contrax are jsut here to annoy me

If I get to Oct. 4th and this baby is not here, I swear I am taking castor oil
