What materials do you recommend for trim aio's?

I am using the Sew Darling pattern, and there are so many options! After posting a question here earlier and getting great feedback, I thought I'd go with flannel for the body, and flannel with microfiber sandwiched in for the soaker. It sounds as if this will be a quick-drying option as well. I never mentioned that I'm really, really going for trimness, though! Perhaps flannel and microfiber will make a trim diaper...I'm completely open to any suggestions on materials!

I appreciate your feedback!

It kind of depends on your baby. Hemp is super super absorbant, IMO, and a great way to get trimness and absorbancy. The problem is that it absorbs slowly, so if you have a babe that wets often but not a lot at once, that would be ideal. I have a toddler that floods, so I cant use that.

I love flannel, but it does take a few layers for it to work for my DD. I do a 4 layer body w/ a 4-6 layer soaker in my fitteds for her. But trimness has never been a concern for us, since we are home most of the time and she just runs around in her cloth.
