I get a bit uncomfortable when nursing my nearly 2 year old in public....... She is not the most discreet child and gets pretty fussy so when she started getting fussy on the bus for a feed I started to feel somewhat embarrassed (I also have issues with severe social anxiety/phobia)......
Anyhoo, i was doing my best to avoid eye contact with everyone but I did look up a couple of times to see a girl (no older than 13) absolutely beaming at me. It made me feel 100% better and it was nice to see a girl who didn't find the whole thing yucky (breastfeeding in my area is hardly a common thing to do).
She really made my day!
