Lemonade Stand

My dd and my neighbor (age 6) just sold lemonade for 25 cents a cup (free refills ). They were on our corner for a little over an hour and made $5. It was so cute! They both learned so much about math, money familiarity, etc. What a fun lesson it was for both of them! Anyway, they both loved it so much I wanted to remind others how much fun it can be!!! Plus, we can go to the dollar store tomorrow in town and spend her money - not mine!!

My 5 1/2 year old loves to do this at home, although so far he just sets it up for our family and we all have some fun with whatever choice of juice he sells! Our next step should be for real with prices and cash handling! And a home-made sign!

Thanks for the reminder of something we can do that reminds me of my own childhood...
