Yeah, sorry, that site is down right now (should be fixed shortly).

Have you read anything about natural ways of treating GBS so that you don't test positive?

Thanks, this is very helpful. I am also already taking my probiotics which have always helped ward off yeast/urinary problems as well as helping my gut. I'm eating yogurt once or twice daily too, hoping that will help as well.

Funny thing is, I was reading the mothering article about GBS prevention, and it didn't mention probiotics (that I remember). There were other measures, but not probiotics. So as I get closer I'm going ot try the other measures as well, though I don't think I'll put garlic in the vagina, because I have always believed (and still do!) that the vagina is self-cleaning and I have never wanted to upset the natural balance. Garlic is a very harsh bulb, you don't want to get it in your eyes so why would I put it in my vagina! I know that goes against what a lot of people believe, but for me, that's my relationship with my body! ha ha.

If I tested positive and was going to retest, I might take more drastic measures.

I wonder when my OB tests, and if I can request a re-test closer to the baby's birth. With DS I tested positive pretty early, so I wonder if it came to delivery day if I would have tested positive still....
