Cramps causing tummy aches

Hello all,

Well, i've been having period like cramps for several days now that worsen at night. At worst it feels like I have my period and at best I feel really nothing at all. The problem is that the period-like cramps cause, well, shall we say GI upset??? Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, that's what I'm experiencing. Not fun! I'm hoping this doesn't last too much longer!

Yep, my mild uterine cramping is causing me some intestinal discomfort and a lot of gas cramping. I can easily distinguish the two kinds of cramping going on at the same time, what a bummer!

Yep. I was having this about a week or so ago. Blech.

Yeah, for the most part, my cramps are only bad now after sex and in the morning when I wake up. During the day it's a little more tolerable. :

Mine seem to be worse at the end of the day and after I've been on my feet for a while, like after cooking dinner.

Hope they subside for you soon!

Thanks, Rach! Hey, is it just me or does it feel like the symptoms change from day to day? One day I'm crampy, then I'm anxious, then I'm nauseous then I have a headache....

Yeah, they seem to be changing for me too. Like yesterday I wasn't nauseous hardly at all, the day before I wasn't crampy. But anxious is me ALL the time, 24/7

OK, then you and I need to be pregnancy buddies. I'm anxious enough for the whole damn board. LOL!!! Ahhh, it's jjrsgirl and rach03, the prenatal nervous nellies!

It's good to have a nervous buddy when everyone else is so excited! I'm excited, but the nervousness definitely overshadows the excited.

I experienced this as well - totally normal.

And I'm right there with you gals on being nervous. I am excited, but I feel so much more nervous than I did the last time. I'm trying to relax. I'll feel much more relief when I hear the heartbeat and get into the second trimester. I am feeling some measure of encouragement, though, b/c of my intense nausea. I don't like it, but I am happy to have the symptom.

I know, I can't WAIT for nausea. I hope I puke.

I am also feeling very crampy with GI upset. In fact, Thursday morning I was sure AF was coming for a visit, so I took 4 ibuprofen (my usual cramp remedy). Ooops!!

I think I have had 10 bowel movements in the past two 1/2 days. Thursday I pooped every 2 hours!!

Well I hate to know others are in pain like me, but at least I feel more normal now. I usually wake up at a very indecent hour and proceed to sit on the can for a much too long time while my body works out this annoying pressure by my uterus. NOT FUN - especially when you're a stomach sleeper like me. :-( The weird thing is, the cramps are usually combined with mild nausea and gone by 9 or 10 am. Is this my psycho version of morning sickness? :

Hello, i'm TTC and kind of lurking around in here. I caught sight of this thread and had to comment. I'm supposed to get AF next week and have been having the same thing you all are describing! It started out as just really bad cramps 5 or 6 days ago and just hasn't really gone away. I'm so, so bloated it's ridiculous! I don't get AF crampy until the day i start. Anyone remember how early it all started for you? Surely this is a bit early for symptoms....or is it?:
