OMG! Holy crap. What a rollercoaster. Poor you!

Yes, I have always heard that false positives, with colour and within the time limit, are extremely rare. What brand did you use this morning?

CVS brand, with the blue dye.

North...

With all my heart, I hope you get your BFP soon. I saw your most recently posted test. It looks similar to a Walgreens brand test I've used before (which may be the same maker). I am the queen of evaps and error tests, I swear. Unfortunately, I have had a line that looks like that on the Walgreens test and I was not pregnant (other tests did not confirm it). I don't think it can be called an evap when it comes up so quickly, but it may be an error test. My line was blue and thin, much like the one you've posted. I hope it is the start of a real BFP for you, but I wanted to share my experience with you.

Even if it is an error or evap, that doesn't mean you are not pregnant!! So keep that in mind. Here are some stats that I love to obsess over every month:

HPT accuracy DPO
10 dpo : 35%
11 dpo : 51%
12 dpo : 62%
13 dpo : 68%
14 dpo : 74%
15 dpo : 80%
16 dpo : 88%
17 dpo : 92%
18 dpo : 99%

See? So even if you are pregnant, there is still a very reasonable chance that the HPTs would not show it yet! We get so into seeing people posting such early HPT results, we forget that the majorty of pregnancies will not even register on an HPT at 10 DPO!

Hang in there. I hope AF stays away!!! And keep on testing and posting your tests, please! We're all on this ride with you!!!

Maybe you should wait until Tuesday or something when AF would be late. Or get a quantitative beta.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you North by 60, because I think there's a higher probability that the negatives are false negs than that the positive was a false pos.

Keep hanging in there. This kind of thing is really rough!

I'm done. I'll know I'm pregnant when I go into labor.

So sorry that this has been such a rollercoaster ride for you.

I still say you're probably pregnant. All the tests have different sensitivities, and some batches are worthless (I thought I was not pg with dd because repeated tests at 12-13-14-15 dpo said not pg. 3 days later when AF was really truly late, dh encouraged me to test just to be sure before we went out for a night of partying. So I went to go get another test, different brand... which showed an immediate, ridiculously dark positive. I used the last of my internet tests dipped in the same pee with the super dark positive... and the stupid internet test still showed negative!) Or just wait until you're so late you wonder if it's worth bothering to take a test... which is what I did this pregnancy... "wait... my last period was... 6 weeks ago? how can that possibly be?"

You aren't pregnant. I did this only a couple of months ago. I did two tests, both came up with 2 lines (the positive one being very very light), its the evaporation line apparently. The tests I did on the following days were clearly negatives and I am most definitely not pregnat. You should only read a test within the time specified on the instructions.

Its extremely gutting so have a hug from me.

I know stories that have gone both ways. You could always go get a blood test. It's better than the roller coaster . You're not supposed to ride those when you're pregnant.

Either way,
