So I dug out the other test of the two pack so I could compare. It too has a faint line, so I'm going with evaporation instead of positive. I'm not going to rush out and get another test today, I'll wait a few more days. :

I'm putting my money on a BFP.
A few years back, I took an FRER and watched it until the test line appeared. It was *clearly* a BFN, so I pitched it into the basket. The next morning, I took the test out of the basket and there was a faint line.
I took another test later that afternoon and there was that line again!

That line is napping on the livingroom chair right now.

Hmm, definately a line, but it may have been too long. Test again, test again! I had one that I thought was negative because the line was so light and I called dh to tell him. WHile I was looking at it, I realized that there was the very lightest of lines that I just hadn't noticed at first. Looked an awful lot like that one. Now it looks like a 6 year old maniac out playing in the pouring rain.

I've met several people who have gotten evaporation lines with that brand.
I'd use a different brand.

That looks like a positive to me. Funny, I never got an evap line when my tests were NEGATIVE no matter how long they sat around. Congratulations!

I don't usually post here, but saw the title and had to chime in. With my last baby (age 2 now) I bought the Early Response test. I took it and got the faintest pink line I was sure that I had a defective test. Meanwhile I was peeing on every other brand on the market and getting negatives. I took the second Early test and got the same thing. I was convinced that I had a wonky box of tests. Yeah, so sure enough I was pregnant. Now, of course I swear by these tests because, well, I didn't get a real positive from any other brand for another 2 weeks.
So, I would lean toward a giant Congrats to you!

Ditto. I always use FRER and I have never had a neg. one come up positive after any amount of time.

So.... I got another test while I was at the store. It's an acuclear with the blue -/+ dye. Very negative. Not even a hint of a line. But it was a two pack, so I'll feel compelled to test again tomorrow morning.

ETA: It was a Fact Plus, not acuclear.

With this pregnancy I got 2 negatives with Fact Plus which totally discouraged me even though my other tests had faint, faint faint lines. I ended up getting a positive through the digital though so I knew for sure.

Fact Plus is really not sensitive at all and the +/- brands generally suck. Get a FRER. No substitutes. Don't do any more tonight b/c night urine never works for me.

hmmmmm...it sorta looks postive. I mean there are two lines, but if you don't remeber when they showed...then I vote test again.

Yeah you can't tell with FactPlus and Accuclear if you are just seeing faint lines on FRER. They are not sensitive at all comparitively. Many brands are like 50 or 100 mIu, and FRER is 25. So what you see on a FRER will not necessarily show up on other brands for DAYS.

I am still hopeful. Go whore or something for more cash for another FRER. This is serious!
