Nope, didn't hear about the 'removal from a craft store incidenct', but sounds like a violation of Utah law to me.

From the LLL law summaries page "Utah enacted legislation clarifying a woman’s right to breastfeed in public, even if there was some exposure of the breast. It exempts breastfeeding from indecent exposure statutes. " http://www.llli.org/Law/Bills37.html

I'll post if I learn anything more -

Regarding the article, sigh. This reinforces the importance of mother to mother support. We can't rely on getting it from the government. BF moms spend money on their families, corporations spend it on lobbying.

Did you read the comments at the bottom though?? Geesh! Some nasty things were said. Someone even laughed at the idea that formula companies would have any interest in suppressing the report (talk about naive!!!) And, there was a nasty comment regarding LLL and our "breastimony" meetings. I treasure my monthly LLL meetings, that really stung.

This is curious. When the studies don't support Big Formula/Big Pharma, they pay for study after study. Thank goodness with mama's milk, the benefits are overwhelmingly clear. All they can do is hide the study results and hope they don't get found out.

In the case of the vaccine/autism link, however, Big Pharma gets the CDC to recommend no more studies. Big Pharma's point of view has already been proven in the studies *Big Pharma* paid for.
