Okay, so, here goes, and I'd like to preface this with saying that I am NOT a BFing/boob newbie, I'm actuakly fairly well educated in boob mechanics, lol, but have never run across this.

I am NOT bfing, I stopped in March, then got pg in April.
I am pregnant, 24 weeks this week
Story:
So , couple days ago, I noticed a dark spot on my nipple..upon investigation, realized it was a bit of congealed blood. The tiny scab came off, I thought nothing more of it, assumed I must have done something weird, moved on...well..last night, it's still there. SO, I pinched the nipple a bit, and blood comes pouring out. So, I kept squeezing, the way you would if you were hand-expressing milk. Blood keeps coming out. So i dab with a tissue, and keep expressing. For a minute or two. The blood is NOT coming from any sort of injury that I can see, the nipple is not cracked, blistered, etc or anything, and it does not hurt. The blood is coming out like milk would, like FROM the milk duct. The hole above the blood one prodiced some whitish milk, and the ones below it produced a clear colostrum, and the one hole kept producing blood. Not mixed with milk or anything, just pure, bright red blood. All in all, I probably got about a teaspoon of blood out before I decided to stop squeezing it.
