2 wks old and he's gained...

2 lbs already! He was 7lb10oz at birth and as of this afternoon (2 wks & 2 days old) he's at 9lb10oz! I was still nursing his big sister so there was already some milk when he was born. He's already got a cute lil double chin.

Any other tandem mamas have fast gaining babes?

not a tandem mama but my little girl has got some rolls! she was 8#6oz when born, went down to 7#9oz @ one week and @ one month weighed nearly 12#!!
dh was getting worried but i assured him its a good thing.

I'm tandeming and this girl is gaining way faster than her older sister did. Disregarding the first week, when she lost over 10% of her birth weight, she has gained an average of a bit over 10 ounces a week Her older sister gained about 6 ounces a week.

Same here; I tandem and my new baby is gaining WAY faster than her big sister did. She gained 1.5 pounds in two weeks, and at 5.5 weeks she has gained 3 pounds. She has a double chin and arm rolls, it's sooooo cute! It took Walden 3 months to gain that much. I just love pudgy babies.
