What to wash the baby things in?? - Page 2

We use All Free and Clear, and like it a lot.

I use a store brand natural free and clear and only use half the amount for our regular clothes. I just plan to do the same for the baby clothes and do an extra rinse cycle in the beginning.

FYI-
I have heard BAD BAD things about Charlie's soap- you might want to google it + burns. It can actually BLISTER your baby's skin with chemical burns. I've never had any experience with it, but seen some photos of what it has done that turned me off completely!

This Diaper Pin thread says Charlie's is bad news for skin and diapers.

Shucks!

Oh, I was also going to suggest using less soap than recommended. Like dog food companies they want you to use more so they sell more. Sometimes you don't need that much. And white vinegar can be tossed in as a booster or into the rinse cycle as a fabric softener and brightener.

Dang, I think we already have some coming to us through a friend I don't want to expose the babe to any rash chances though...

ETA: Both the people on here and that thread who used the powder didn't seem to notice a problem... Maybe it is with the liquid?
