I was wondering what kinds of things you can make from wool scraps? I've seen those felted wool balls, does anyone know how to do that?
Thanks~Debi

Edited to say~or can you direct me to a site or book that would give directions?

I don't think you can do the balls from wool scraps, I think they're made from wool roving.

My scraps are all felted, so I send them off to mamas who do applique. You can also make Robeez type slippers from them.

If you have bigger scraps, I've used 2 layers of felted jersey as the inner in a hotpad.

Ummm, wool nursing pads?

I was gonna say applique If you have colors I"m sure a WAHM would pay shipping for them

If the strips are long and thin you can make a braided rug. They last forever when made out of wool.

The strips should be between 1-2" wide and at least 6" long or it will be a pain in the rear end. I try to work with strips that are no longer than 40"s or they tend to tangle.

I can send you instructions if you're interested.
