Nope. They're babies.

We do go to some parent-present playgroups, and one of those playgroups we've gone to in the past did happen to have been put on by the local Waldorf school. I don't consider a parent-and-child, non-academic free-play session to be "school" though, regardless of where it's held. (However, I found the people at the Waldorf playgroup, particularly the staff, kept pressuring us/having expectations that we'd be enrolling our kid(s) in the school when they were older, even after I made it clear that we're planning on homeschooling and thus not interested in putting our children in school, so we don't go to that playgroup anymore.)

Ds went to JK and is home with me now for SK and I hope to homeschool him for at least the primary grades. Dd has gone to school since JK and is now in Gr. 3 in public school. I hope to hs her in the future.

yes...right up until june. DS went for 10+ years of K-9th grade, more if you count preschool. he loved it up until about 4th grade. now we are getting ready to deschool then home/unschool and hopefully undo the damage of the last 5+ years. : wish us luck!

Yep. Kindergarten, half the year at a crunchy reggio emilia charter school in Oakland, and half the year at a teeny (under 10 students) private Montessori school. That was enough...

Yup. Daycare from 14 months to 5 yo when I was in college then working.

Pre-K for about a month, not a good experience.

Montessori kindergarten for 6 months, even worse experience.

Public K for the rest of the year, much better experience, but not a safe school (gang violence, 8yo's with knives, routine lock-down drills)

A safer, but larger and less flexible public school french immersion program for gr. 1 + 2, horrible experience, I was on the verge of hiring a lawyer when I finally decided to give up on school and hs.

Hsing for grades 3-6.

Ps again for grade 7, ds had an ok time, nothing bad about it, but nothing particularly good, either (plus ds being assigned colouring pages in cooking class : )

Hs again since last year for grade 8, ds is now in grade 9 and will be hsed through "graduation" (which will be whenever he decides he wants to be a real grown-up, if he decides to hs past 18 we'll just tell colleges he was taking a "flex year" or two, or five )

In CD? That's depressing.

10 half days of pre-k at age 4.

My oldest (11) went up through 1st and #2 (8) went just for pre-K. I was working full-time at the time, but now I am home full-time and in a crummy school district. Private school is out of the question b/c of $$$, not that I would send them just b/c we had the $$$ if we did. DD (5) and of course the 2 yo have never been to school.
