Low blood pressure

I already have one whiny thread tonight, so I thought I throw this out here, too.
My blood pressure is pretty low(92/58 last Friday). i understand anything is better than high pressure, especially right now, but I am not well. I have fainted twice around 20 weeks, but this has stopped. But I am often so dizzy that I have to sit down and I scared I might drop ds. It doesn't help that we still have over a 105 degrees every day with no signs of cooling down.
I really cuts down my quality of life and my son's too.
My mw has no idea what to do except for resting (and a pack of cigarettes and a box of donuts to get the pressure up), but all in all she is happy it is so low.
Any ideas what might help??

Gosh! I don't know what could help. Hopefully someone else does. Oh, stay away from cinnamon and celery as those naturally lower BP.

I kind of know how you feel after today! Twice out in public I got dizzy and lightheaded and nearly went down. I was surprised. Not sure what caused it. Then driving I was dizzy and sort of *ahem* dangerous!

Mine was low at a MW appt and she asked if I had been well hydrated that day. It was superduper hot and I really hadn't been as hydrated as I should have. She said dehydration will drastically lower your BP. DRINK MORE WATER!!!

Thank you for your suggestions, ladies. I am well hydrated that is for sure. Life in the desert taught me that lesson early. and I know if I don't eat and drink well, I totally go down the drain. Gosh, I eat a lot of celery and use some cinnamon, maybe I should cut it out. i am trying some licorice, it is supposed to raise blood pressure, we will see.
Maybe I just have to live with it, at least I am almost done
Thank you again!!!!

Supposedly if you eat 2-4 stalks of celery a day it will lower high BP, so even a lower amount could probably lower BP. Definitely cut it out and see if your BP comes up!

Are you eating enough salt? Not having enough salt in your diet can cause low blood pressure in pregnancy.

No advice, but plenty of empathy for you!
I was so excited to get up to 100/60 at my last appointment.

On the bright side, you already know the warning signs of fainting and how to cope with the aftermath, so you're more prepared if you feel something coming on.
