not sure if you are looking for homebirth or hospital birth but we used BJ Snell and were very happy with her care although our first birth did not end as we planned

I had my first two at home w/ midwives in OC. I've used Candice Leach and Susan Gill. Susan was fabulous at the prenatals...especially good about including my dd in everything. When it came to actual L&D, I felt she was a bit too controlling for my taste. I didn't have Candy for any prenatals so I can't comment on that, but she was amazing at dd's birth...despite the fact that we had never met (long but good story!) it was like she could read my mind and knew exactly what dh and I needed at any given moment.
