I am doing a different kind of babymooning. In short, people can come by only if they wish to help with things here. I will be taking it easy with baby and doing as little on the world as possible. I am making a list of everyone who offers help so when the house needs food I can call them to do shopping for me, taking my daughter to cheer practice, bring the house keeper over as she does not drive..... I want to have lots of yummy food in the house for the kids and I, easy stuff, and lots of in the house relaxing things to do. Not to mention November is NaNoWriMo (Novel writing month) and I normally close off to the world and write like crazy and very much enjoy myself. I have no idea how long I will babymoon, till breastfeeding is solid at least but chances are till my husband comes home and that might well be the end of January. Seems like a long time but I have to be easy on myself. Thus I am getting all the holiday stuff done as much as I can before now and then and trying to stock my freezer. Yes, the kids and I shall hide from the world and enjoy our special time together. Friends will take my kids to church and other places too just incase they need to get out.
Last time I had a baby in November I got out of the hospital, went right to a church friends house as it was thanksgiving and never missed a beat at church. We where there almost 5 times a week and it was just too much, I broke down come Febuary. This time I am going to take care of myself and plan on doing near nothing in the world and if I feel up to things it will be Choir and Singing on a very few Sundays. All this to say...... I will be online a lot after baby is here and look forward to the peace of November as our weeks are full down to the hour. I am eating right now. LOL |

: yeah. it would have been GREAT if he planned ANY of it! Somehow he conned me into picking the place, calling for the reservations, finding a place for the dogs to go, doing the packing... some babymoon! It ended up making more work for me!
