How long did it take you to get into active labor once you lost your MP? It's my due date, and I'm trying, trying, trying not to get my hopes up, but it's not working very well. I'm thinking the next couple of days are likely, right?
I had a week between losing my MP and when I had DD. However... my midwife stripped my membranes at 40 weeks with my last pregnancy and I think that initiated some ripening that caused it to be lost. My due date is tomorrow and my current mw won't be stripping my membranes. I think that had she not done that, it would have happened much closer to actual labor.
I didn't loose any of my plug until I started active labor. And, my water didn't break until I was almost to transition. I deliver my son on my due date in about 4 hours of labor. I think the common thread here is that any can happen:-)
