Hosp/BC Mamas, have you packed yet? - Page 2

Nope, I'll be making DH do it when I'm ready to go to the hospital. *laughs*

Haven't even really thought about it, yet.

I still need to get the newborn clothes up from the basement and washed before I can really think about starting to pack.

Need to wash the infant carseat, too.

Hmmm....I guess it's time to start a to do list.

no

but i promised myself i'd be ready at week 36, Theo came at week 38. I won't let myself think about newphew at week 34.

I have started a stack -- i have some baby stuiff picked out -- and 3 sets of lounge wear / pjs for me -- same ones i wore PP with Theo.

I have a rough list -- i will tape the list to the bag -- so that thinks like MY PILLOW and the birth ball get loaded with the bag when the time comes since they can't really be "packed" with it and so i don't have to be directing traffic -- i am trying to set everything up so that Scott and doula can do eveything without haveing to ask me or so i won't have to be thinking at the time, YK?

Last time i had a full and detailed lsit, this time with everythign else, that seems to be diffcult -- but come one, if i pack for myself i can remember my own toothbush with out it being on a list, can't I??? Espcailly if i do it before week 36..... ???? --- await pp post where aimee forgets her toothbush and comb ---

Part of my challange is my tot loves to UNPACK anything i so much as pile together so i have this fear of packing now, and getting there and finding the rollers out of my hot roller set (I do NOT use and he plays with) but no shirts......

Last time i wore a tank top -- not nurseing and was naked from the wait down, with the monitors it was just easier -- we had another trouble with the darn things as it was, clothing made it worse. this time i am birthing with a male ob, not a female cnm, so i wonder if i will feel differntly in labor or not?

I have already stacked up a could of DH's tee-shirts to take to wear -- i have to remember Scott's bathing suit, in case, he refused to get near the shower last time....adn the tub is for one, he can sit ont he edge but not get in it.

not sure

I do have a cute nurseing gown with a gown for the baby that matches it that i have put in to go.

I do not want to haul as much cr%p as we did last time .... so i think the boppy is staying home, but i AM taking my pillow this time -- i did not last time -- i am think i want to take the infant postioner i bought too

granted i will be holding the baby, or dh will (or my mom or dad) and i will be co-sleeping but ..... i may take this along.... not sure yet.

tough to choose

I am notorious for early packing if I am going on a trip- then I have to unpack because I need something, unpack because I forget what is in there, or unpack because I changed my mind about something. Then I have to re-pack anyways. Or I wait till the last minute and forget the important stuff! I guess I could start making a list- that is easier to change than to keep unpacking and repacking!

my oterh concern -- i -- not theo -- will start pulling things out to use between now and then, and baby brain will ONLY remember the packing, not the "borrowing" (heck today i drove to the post office without a wallet)
