I'm getting ready to start working at a local hospital teaching childbirth prep. I've done childbirth prep for years but never with so many families going exclusively for hospital birth. The hospital is pretty open about what I can teach but obviously I can't promote homebirth and can't focus on waterbirths (darn it!).
I'm looking for some fairly reasonably priced natural birth videos. I would really like these mainstream families to see some beautiful natural births in varying positions, etc.
I'm thinking about buying Birth in the Squatting Position because I've always loved that video and it shows some really great up close video of birth without gloved hands everywhere.
Is the Gentle Birth Choices DVD updated? I remember the old VHS.
Am also thinking about buying The Elk and the Epidural (because unfortunately I will have to at least discuss the option of epidurals) but I haven't seen it before. How is it?
