FINALLY, Gabriel got here!

Hi Mamas--

After TWO SOLID WEEKS : of prodromal labor (cntrx every 20 minutes 24/7), Gabriel arrived on Friday night, September 7, 37 weeks on the nose, 7lb.s, 4 oz., 21". The contractions started to increase around 3:00, and we went to the hospital around 6:30. At 7:30, at 4+ centimeters, the OB broke my water, and Gabriel arrived at 9:00, fast, intense, and drug-free!

We're home and getting into our new routine, and DS #1 thinks his baby brother is the best thing we've ever given him.

I also had prodromal labor for 11 days.. It was awful...

I'm happy your body is easier on you, and you are holding your little bundle.

I had just over 2wks of prodormal labor with my first and was soo happy to hold my little girl in the end...
