Hello everyone.. hope your all warm in your homes tonight:

Devilish~ looking good! I don't recall what the numbers mean, but if they said they're good numbers, that's great!! Enjoy the rest of your days. Let's see... first ache I had was a back ache and it was probably 3-4 days after ET. Next day I had head-aches and back aches.. and since then boob aches added to the list. RE said some people feel changes right away while others don't, so do not worry about trying to feel things, you may be one of the lucky one's that doesn't get ill, not a bad thing!

Ann~tough j-o-b, but at least it's done.. for now eh. 11/18 that's just around the corner too. You're sooo close, just you wait, these next few wks will fly by with all the holidays and all and before you know it, you'll be wondering how quickly did you get to your ER date.. or at least I hope it feels this way for you.

I had another b/w today and we're doing great! RE said that my HCG level jumped from 239 from last Friday to 1051!!! I asked her if that means that I have a higher chance of multiples and she said, maybe but that this HCG level is not an accurate indicator of multiples~ she's seen MANY babies have very strong HCG levels, High levels and yet they were single births..
I told her we were OK about it regardless, we knew what the %'s were and we were OK! I say this now, not knowing what it's like to raise twins ofcourse! Anyhow~ all is good, feeling pg but not ill, some aches and pains but happy to have 'em! Yes, I've decided to ignore any bad/ill feelings with regards to SIL, it's a closed deal as far as I'm concerned. Right now I'm loving the pampering my DH is providing~~ I'm still in shock, it's real all right~everyday that passes I believe it more and more..

Have a great evening ladies~~ Best wishes!

I'm doing well. DH brought me a "present" from work: a printout of how to do all the. mdc smileys! No wonder I could only remember a few, the thing is like 8 pages long! DH couldn't figure out how to work the scanner/copier/ emailer at his job tho, so we're taking the pics to target. He should be posting links to the pics later tonight. I hope the pic of the busted condom wasn't the baby announcements! I've been relaxing for the most part, nothing more "strenuous" than walking/food shopping. I'm going to get back to cooking tonight tho, I don't think poor dh wants to "cook" for a very long time!
BTW: I called my nurse today and we had 6 embies freeze!

Netflix is awesome! They have so many movies. Right now I'm catching up on past seasons of tv shows like Penn & Teller: Bulls**t (HILARIOUS show, I highly reccommend! Disk 1 of season 3 has the circumcision episode that's linked to in the "the case against circumcision" forum), Monk (another excellent show), Smallville, and The Simpsons. We've even found really "obscure"/indie shows/movies, even from decades ago like "The Groovy Goolies" (remember that cartoon show from the 70's?). If it's out on dvd, chances are netflix has it. Which has saved us a TON of money! This way we didn't waste money buying movies that were awful (I hated "Ghostrider"), and found some that were surprisingly good (like "Hot Fuzz" and "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny"). They also have a lot of documentaries that are hard to find, like "Walmart: the high cost of low price". I know they're supposed to be getting "The Business of Being Born" in feb or so too. Its a great thing to have. Its broadened the horizons of what we watch, since its not like it costs extra to take chances on different movies, and you can view your friends queue/recommendations to get ideas too. Also, rate movies! If you rate the movies you've seen, they'll recommend other movies you might like. And you automatically get free online movie viewing time too (we have the 3 at a time plan, and you get 18 free online viewing hours a month). You can even "hold" your membership while you're on vacation! yeah, you can tell I love my netflix! I'm a stay at home wife, and we don't have cable, so it comes in handy! And you can take your time watching things too. When we had cable, we'd always feel like we had to juggle things around our tv schedule if we wanted to "keep up" with a show, which wasn't at all convienient (or healthy for our social life! . Now we get the movies in a day, and they may sit around the house for a week and a half until we have time to watch them, and life doesn't revolve around the tv. Feel free to pm me if/when you get it so I can add you to my netflix friends list.

I can imagine having to testify against a kid in court would be really stressful! Good luck on starting the lupron. Like I said, that one wasn't too bad for me: the shots were easy, and other than some bone pain and a little bit of nausea (which could have been the met) at the beginning, I don't remember having too many side effects. The progesterone is going good. We had to get a system worked out. The first shot was pretty easy, but then the next few had me REALLY sore. We looked up tips on mdc (either in this forum or ttc) and figured out that I need to lay flat on my stomach, NOT on my side (the info that comes with it suggests your side ). We tried it and found that when I laid on my side, the needle doesn't go into the muscle at a 90• angle like its supposed to, and that was one of the reasons I was so sore. Also,(we had to figure this out for ourselves) if you're laying down (as opposed to standing propped against something), it helps if your dh kneels, so that you are stomach level with him (versus bending over), otherwise it can be really hard to control the force used (it was the difference between getting pricked with a sewing needle and being stabbed by OJ!). Tilting the needle ever so slightly so the bevel goes in smoothly first (and doing it quickly) makes it a lot less painful too. Dh also does a countdown, so I know exactly when its coming (jumping during the shot is the LAST thing you want to do, trust me ). And keep breathing throughout the shot, holding your breath makes it worse (true with piercings too!). A heating pad afterwards also does wonders. Once we figured all that out (it took a few really sore days), the shots don't feel that much different than the subq shots. I think if you have a lot of trouble with them though, that a lot of REs will switch you to a suppository.
The tww is going fine. I'm going to start indulging my poas obsession in a day or two. So far I've been a little nauseas, kinda crampy, had some vagina pain and I have a sort of "heavy" feeling, but no real symptoms yet. I think the nausea is due to the met/my not so good diet lately (dh has been cooking, so I'm taking what I can get! ). The rest I figure might be from the transfer itself. I'm trying to keep busy by playing puzzle games on my nintendo ds (brain age and soduku among others), working on the scarf I've been crocheting, and catching up on seasons upon seasons of tv shows I've missed while not having cable. And today I start cooking/baking again!

Keep us posted. I'll want to know how your cycle's going! Best of luck!

devilish_fetish: How are you feeling? I think the embie pics are the coolest thing (way better than a pic of a busted condom!!! Yes, I know someone who did that, ugh!) What a great way to start a baby album. I hope you are feeling well and taking it easy. I think the net flix thing is a great idea and plan on doing that myself. Anything good you recommend?
BTW: I am a probation officer (for youth under 17 who have been charged with criminal offenses) and sometimes, on a rare occasion, we have to truck our way down to adult Court to testify about a kid's prior Court history. I hate it, it totally stresses me out. The case settled, thank goodness. And Lupron starts 11/18. I am ok with the Lurpon, it's the progesterone needles that freak me out. How's that going? Keep us posted on your TWW!!!
Peace~

I'm just trying to keep my eyes peeled. :

We finally made it to a rite-aid and got our embie pics on cd, so dh will post the link later tonight.

Oh, and I think I figured out what the clear fluid that you were talking about is. I think its embryo medium. During my transfer, my re told me that some fluid may come out, that its just extra embryo medium and not the embies. I totally gapped on it till it happened today. Do you think that could be what was leaking?

(sparkling cider). Congrats on the huge jump! Higher levels of hcg are a good thing, means a nice strong baby. What's the twin percentage there? I heard it could vary place by place. At our RE's its about 30% (40% if the mom is older/puts back lots of embies). Dh and I want twins... just not first! If we got twins, I think it'd be tough, but nothing we couldn't handle. Now triplets, I'd be worried! :
Sorry your sil reacted that way, but its good that you're ignoring it and not letting it get you down!

Have you found a midwife/doc yet? Do you know what kind of birth you want? Have you started looking at baby gear like carseats yet? Can you tell I'm excited for you?

Have a good night and I hope everyone's doing well!

Morning everyone!

How's everyone doing? Ready for the weekend.. almost here!

devilish~ embie pics that's so cool, wish we would've thought of something that cool.

RE had mentioned about the possibility of embryo medium the first couple days after ET but I really don't recall this happening. The discharge I was ref. to happened almost 5-6 days after ET. After researching it further with RE that discharge turned out to be one of the possitive signs of pregnancy. She explained that there are a few women during pregnancy that this happens to, they call it plain old= vaginal discharge. She said, "Increased blood supply and hormones cause your vagina to increase normal secretions. Normal vaginal discharge is white or clear, non irritating, odorless and may look yellow when dry on your underwear or panty liners." It can be from the sz of a dime to a quarter sometimes more. If you start seeing this happen, this could be a GREAT sign Since it happened to me a few times, for now I have to wear a panty liner every day, just in case. ~~ no problem, glad to do it, makes me feel better knowing that my body is doing good stuff! *Got a new one for you all--- shortness of breath, yup it can happen to you early in your pregnancy, I was not aware of this! It was scarry the first time it happened, I thought something was wrong for sure, NOPE! I knew about it during 3rd trimester but t's actually pretty common at the beggining too. If you feel out-of-breath, slow yourself down, put your arms up and breathe slowly... : it doesn't last very long, a few min.s but when you're not expecting it, it's pretty scarry/weird. We would love twins as well, but like you, it would be nice to break the ice with one~ but we're not picky.. oh yeah the percentage is about 25-30% for us.
SIL yeah, we're both completely over it.. everyone else has been so supportive and helpfull. It has been a trully great experience! Hey so we just found out that a really good friend of mine is also pg, hers was the "naturale" way, so she's actually further along than me, 5-6wks!! We're so excited to be able to share this experience with our friends~ she's super thrilled that we are pg together!!
DH and I had discussed all the choices now-a-days and I think we're sticking with the good-old-fashion way-- we're definitely going with an OBGYN and as for labor type, I think we're going with traditional "labor", use meds as needed, that type of thing. As for carseats and all the pg associated goodies, I've been trying to be real good about this and give it another few months~ we're still enjoying the great news and letting it all sinc-in! It is still such an overwelming event for us~sometimes it still seems too good to be true! But believe me, I'd dying to go by the baby isles at the stores, I can't tell you how many baby showers we've attended in these past 6 years, but off the top of my head it's probably about 10-11.. and I so look fwd to going to the baby section, but this time FOR ME My Mom (bless her heart) is already telling me about when can we go to the store to buy material so that she can sew the sheets/stuff for the basinet ~ She's so ready for this too! All in all, we are GREAT! No nausea (yet)!

*How's everyone's cycles going? Where are all the mama's?
BABY -- BEST WISHES!!

Yeah, I feel pretty bad. Dh keeps saying "I'm sorry you feel bad." And I'm like "No, you're not!" . I haven't called my RE yet, since my bloodtest is thursday anyway. I already have planned out a lot of the typical "baby" stuff, such as names, baby gear we're getting, what kind of birth we want, etc. We still have to decide where (we've narrowed it down to either one specific hospital that has a birthing tub), or a home-waterbirth. Other than that, we're going to read read read some more. We still don't know all the stuff you're supposed to avoid doing during pregnancy, what to eat, etc.
I hope you get over your cold soon and start feeling better. You'll have a soon, I KNOW it!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! This is great news.. I'm so happy for you!! Hope your ill feelings get better soon, but this is soooo AWESOME!! yeay:
Really you have names picked out?! That's soo cool.. gear and all too eh, nice! So happy for you both, it's so wonderful!! How soon will you be sharing the great news? Are you thinking of a BIG announcement over Thanksgiving dinner type thing or can't wait~ you'll be calling everyone you know?

Ann~ I hope you get better soon, you know, you're next right?!! Just think, you'll soon get over your cold and get pg just to go back to the little illness symtoms, how exciting!!! Wishing you a speedy recovery!!

How's everyone else doing?

Sorry, I've been MIA, DH had a softball tournament in Vegas, we left last Friday and we just got back. First time in Vegas PG~ very dif. experience. We had a good time, but I was home sick.. I couldn't believe it, it's our yearly get-a-way weekend with a bunch of friends, this year it was all family style (last year was just couples) -- so it was another reminder that we're not dreaming that we're really PG! At Vegas we told all other friends that we hadn't seen from last weeks news, I'm still in disbelief ~~ EVERYONE was thrilled for us. DH was great, eventhough he was enjoying his game time, he always kept an eye on me and making sure I was all taken care of.. I'm SOOO Lovin' his attn right now~~ he's great! One of my best friends gave us some books, needed them and she picked one specially for DH, he's a reader and it helps him to not worry about every little thing. So far so good. My Dr. apt. is next week, Monday ~ I'll keep you guys updated. Oh yeah, no nausea for me! I'm loving it!! Since we just got back, I haven't really had a chance to hit the stores, can't wait to go looking-shopping. I don't know where to start, so much to do and only a short time to do it all in
We need to move our office down stairs so that we can clean up, paint and ready baby's room.. have not started looking for furniture yet, next on the list. Need EVERYTHING!! We're considering taking a birthing class, I think it would be cool to do, not too sure yet though. Has anyone found a PG count down cheat sheet? If so, send me a copy! I'll be : for you all!
Take Care and Best Wishes!!

Hi all! I am finally feeling better and thought I'd drop in to ck on everyone...

How was your appt today devilish_fetish?

OurTime: glad you had a fun time at the softball tourney....and are enjoying the attention One thing I learned fro all my pg friends~enjoy being the queen now, b/c soon, all focus will be on the babe(s)!!! Have fun getting the room ready and please feel free to post what you are getting and/or have researched...I'd love the tips!

cincynana: How's it going? Any decisions made yet? Hope you are doing well~

As for me, I guess I'll be bumping the Dec IVF thread. Sunday Lupron starts!!!
I almost had to take a pg test while at the re's office on Tuesday....so sick and urpee and fever....all better now or I would have gone in for a blood test.

DH and I are getting pretty excited, full of positive th oughts and hope....which in itself is refreshing. I suspect I'll be on Lupron for less than 10 days before AF starts and then on to stims. I am starting at 225 Gonal-F, which is 2-3x more than our previous non-ivf cycle. I'm curious how that will feel. oh, BTW, Q for stimmers: I have always known when I was o-ing (since maybe 16yoa) cm, pressure, increased sex drive. On clomid and gonal f, I have less o pain and pressure than without the stim meds. Any thoughts on why this might be? The re's nurse said only, "maybe my body likes the meds."
Ok, maybe, but that really doesn't answer anything. Just curious if anyone had any thoughts on this topic.

I am going to my chiro, who is working primarily on my sacrum. I have also gone to an energy healer and found crystals that support fertility. I am trying to limit the stress at work (as much as that is possible...) and trying (most times not so successfully) to eat well. The thing I like most about energy work, is that I am able to hear/sense what my physical body needs more when the energies are cleared. There is no major revelation: "ooh, my uterus feels energized" but more subtle things, like knowing what nourishment my body needs. Anyone have any suggestions to optimize the time I have left?

Well, it's good to be back. I hope we can light up the boards again, would love to hear from everyone!!!

Evening mama's..

How's everyone doing?

Devilish~ how was your test? Did you tell your RE that you had home tested and new before today? What did they say? What was your HCG level? Can you tell I'm excited for you?

Ann~ Glad that you're feeling better. Take care of you now and try to get some rest in the middle of it all. Dec IVF how exciting, that's just a few wks away!! Once you've started it all flies by so quickly : About o pain, with the meds I felt it more not less, a heavy feeling all the time, uncomfortable too. Not sure what it means, it must just be dif. bodies react dif. and if you're one of the ones that o pain is less then you're lucky!
Good wishes to you these next few weeks, energy healers are great, they can really get to the bottom of things. It is hard to eat healthy when you have so much going on, so try snacking on some & & :. Take Care

I'm totaly enjoying this experience.. I'm glad that everyone has been real supportive, it's a real blessing to have such great family and friends. My waist is starting to go away, I was not an avg. 6 and now it seems that my pants are fitting tighter around my waistline, feel preasure, good thing I kept some of my old 8's around.. I'll be switching to those here soon. I'm happy to report that I am still with no nausea~ if needed to, I'd be happy to have it, but I'm thankful that so far so good! If you recall I had mentioned about a good friend of mine also being pg at same time, well she's got nausea real bad! She's got the "all day" kind :, it sucks for her and since she has a 2yr old, it's hard to keep up, she said she's going on wk 9 and that she's had 2-3 days so far with no nausea- hope this is it for her!

Cincy~ How are you? Any plans. Hope all is good! It's so cool to be able to share with you all, keep in touch!

It's such a high to be on this journey with you all.. Take Care and lots of baby to you all!!

I found a book in target, I think it was called the pregnancy journal, but I'm not sure. It had day by day happenings with the baby/your body and spaces to write. It was very cute, something you'd keep to show your baby later.

So I had my beta hcg today. They look for 100..... I had a 460! My doc says they think both may have implanted. We're really excited. We're not telling family till christmas, but our friends know already. We bought Tiffany rattles to give to our parents to tell them. Its their first grandchild, so we wanted it to be special. I was an anxious ttc'er so we got as many of the details ironed out as we could before we got pg. Lol, I couldn't wait. We're cosleeping, so I didn't have a nursery to plan. And a little shallow as it is, I love shopping. . So I jumped on picking the stuff we WOULD need, since a lot of stuff is eliminated by cosleeping and breastfeeding. We've got a stroller, carseat and slings picked out, as well as names for a boy, a girl, or twins.

You're lucky to not have symptoms! .

Nicole- I'm so excited for you to start lupron! I'm gonna be keeping an eye on your ivf cycle. You're next to get a !!!!!

I've gotta get some sleep. I'll post more later!

devilish~ CONGRATS!!!! That is so awesome. I'm so happy for you When is your u/s to see how many are in there I love the idea of giving rattles to announce your pg. That is very sweet. I love looking at baby stuff, too. My friends dh calls catalogs with strollers, etc mommy-porn. He is so right!

ann109~ You're so close to starting. How are you feeling?

ourtime~ That's great that so many people are being so supportive. Its so important to have good people surrounding you.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. My dd is sick so I've been doing a lot of snuggling on the couch. I've also been trying to not think about ttc (yeah, right!) But I have been looking into adoption. dh is a little iffy about that route. His brother is adopted and there were (and still are) lots of issues surrounding the situation. But I'm still feeling pretty good. I do feel like I'll be pg soon. I'm not sure why I feel like that, but I do. I've been doing a lot of journaling and its been good to keep some things onto paper and out of my head!!! I've been exercising and doing yoga. I swear, breathing through my nose is so calming. I know that sounds odd, but I didn't realize how much it made me calm down and really relax. But it feels nice to be taking care of my body just for the sake of taking care of my body. dh and I are still taking our vits. I'm getting a massage next week. I'm also going to see a massage therapist who deals with mind-body connections. I'm excited about that. I also ordered a book called Honoring our Cycles. Has anyone read it? It sounds really good. Its Nourishing Traditions based. I've really fallen away from the NT stuff and am trying to get back into it.

Sorry this was all alot of random stuff. I feel like I haven't been on here for such a long time and wanted to catch up as much as I could. Hope you all are doing well (it sounds like you are ) I'm looking forward to u/s updates!!

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing good.

I am pretty lucky to not feel ill (I guess) although sometimes I worry that it's been too easy and worry about things going wrong. Last night I told dh that I felt weird, that so far I'm really the only one I know of not having bad pg symtoms, when is the nausea going to start? the cravings? the frequent urination? I do have to go in the middle of the night, but it's usually only one time even if I drink a whole gallon of water.. I do have occasional backaches and head-aches but not severe. I've been waiting for this event for so long and now that it's here, it's got me all confused. : I guess when my friends all got pg (4 gals) x 2 each at least, all were miserable at one point or another, I just assumed that would be me too. I guess these symptoms would remind me daily that all is ok~ that all is normal. I do end up snapping out of it when dh reminds me that I'm lucky and all is well, to enjoy how nice it is for me. Is it normal to worry like this sometimes? That was my worry last night, today I'm more assured again. Devilish- are you having similar doubts? Anyone else knew of someone ok w/no symptoms?
I think after my u/s on Monday, I'll feel much better~ I'm so looking forward to Thanksgiving next week, family will be together and we may be able to have more news for all, hope they're able to tell us if single or multiples.. although I'm trying to convince dh that if they tell us multiples that we don't tell family until almost the end (before shower though) 'cause if it's multiples we'll need more than what we're planning for.

Thanks all for listening~ I don't like telling dh when I'm doubtfull of things, I don't like him to be concerned too much, it's nice to be able to put my worries out there with you all, and not keep them in my head!
Have a great day everyone!! Best Wishes!!

Cincynana- Glad you're doing well! We've been thinking about all of you guys! The doc said today that we should be doing the ultrasound next week. We're really excited to tell family, we can't wait. Its going to be a christmas they'll remember! .

Nicole- you start lupron today, right? I'm so excited for you! Best of luck!!!! Before you know it, it'll be your ER, then we'll be waiting for your !!!

Our Time- It's perfectly normal to have those feelings. My cousin that's pg with #3 currently has NEVER had morning sickness. EVER. She told me my mom had it BAD with us three though. Probably why I've got it like this. I think you just thought that things would feel more "different" already. I'm having a little of the opposite "problem": I didn't know they'd feel this different already! My cousin tells me some women (about 1 in 5 I think) never have morning sickness. . Just the way it happens, I guess. Trust me when I say you're not missing out though! . BTW, I just picked up an excellent book from Babies R Us today (along with a home doppler to let you hear the baby's heartbeat. It's The Pregnancy Book by Dr. Sears. I like it because I HATED "What to expect when expecting" (just a little too medical for me), and this covers a lot of stuff about physical, emotional, mental. Even the doubts you're having right now. And it goes month by month and what to eat, so that's super helpful. I've been reading it all day between frequent naps.

I have an initial appointment with a midwife on the 30th so I can see if we mesh well and try to get the prenatal visits rolling. I had another hcg today (and one scheduled for wed! and it jumped from 460 to 1148! . I've been having all day morning sickness for the past few days here. Along with being more exhausted than I've ever been in my entire life! I finally picked up some Preggy Pops from babies r us to help with the nausea. The exhaustion isn't helped by the fact that we've been doing early holiday shopping and spending a lot of time with our friends. I think I'm really going to have to cut back and spend more time sleeping. I just feel so drained all the time. It doesn't help that my 3month old kitten has decided to invent a new meaning to the word crazy AND claw everyone/everything in his vicinity. The symptoms I can tolerate, the cat's getting on my last nerve. :. Oh, FYI: I bought my first piece of maternity clothing today. : I got a cute shirt that ties in the back from the Motherhood Maternity store. I need something to hide my slightly more pouchy belly over thanksgiving, and a lot of my shirts are baby tees! . Don't want the parents finding out before we're ready for them too! . We want my parents and dh's dad and stepmom to all find out together. Our Time, if your 6's still fit in the thighs, just leave them unzipped and buy a Bella Band. It let's you wear your old jeans and hides the fact that your pants are unzipped.

Hope everyone is doing well!

1st apt & u/s, all looks GOOD!

Afternoon Mama's!

I had my u/s today and we have 1 baby!! We were able to see our baby's heart-beat, it was awesome!! Talk about a speechless moment.
We had prepared ourselves for the possibility of multiples, just incase so when the Dr. said one, DH asked "are you sure?" I think he was hoping for twins after-all. I'm just glad that all looks good and that things are moving along. Dr. said I'm 6wks 5 days, I thought I was between 4&5 wks. Where did the time go, what did I miss? My due date = 7/11/08 Doc said that this u/s is the first of a set of 3, so I have another one next week Monday and the last one the Monday after next~~ after this we graduate back to my OBGYN.. and the normal pg schedule beggins. They gave us a card with our baby's 1st pic, so cute~~ so amazing! I'm so happy that things are going great and that we're doing good. The reason for the 3 u/s is because wks 7-8&9 are the crucial weeks, if anything's going to change it usually happens during these weeks.. so keep us in your thoughts and prayers, we're almost that hump! Now that it's been confirmed that there's only 1 baby, we can focus on all the other details.. we're so fortunate and we're so happy and full of joy! It's REAL.. not just in our hearts, but REAL - finally! Will definitely keep in touch! Oh yeah, as of last night belly decided to grow, I can't fit in my 6's no more.. I'm in the 8's now and they're ok -- if I have another belly jump soon like last night the 8's will be gone soon too or actually I may be able to use "bella band" with the 6's & 8's!

Ann~ how exciting!! Lupron I think you're supposed to refrigerate it, that's what they told me, takes the itch away too.. with you being so busy and all your days will fly by~~ make sure to take some chill time for yourself whenever possible.

Devilish~ your u/s next week? WOW, that was quick!! Great news! There is so much good stuff going on.. it's so amazing. Any plans on how to hide the nausea during Thanksgiving dinner? TOO cool that you're waiting to tell parents on Christmas~ we couldn't wait, we see them/talk to them at least 1 a week and my Mom is really good at picking up on things/vibes.. there's no way I would've been able to pull it off! The reason why you're not having a drink? = antibiotics, reason for the antibiotics= throat infection. why you're a little nauseated (sp?) throat infection causes you to gag..

I could go on all night, so I won't.. Take Care ALL!!
BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL ~~ HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!!

Nicole- so glad you started the lupron! I remember starting lupron (God that seems so long ago! ) and wishing for AF to hurry up and start the moment I stopped BCP! Good luck! Keep us posted!

Our Time- : . YAY! A singleton! Congrats! Are you suprised to be getting pouchy already? I sure am! I thought you didn't start getting a belly till like 4 months! That's so cool that you saw the baby's heart beating! We can't wait. We got the at home doppler to try to listen (it should be beating already we think), but didn't realize it took 9v batteries. Who keeps 9v batteries around the house? : we'll get some soon. Hopefully when we have our ultrasound we'll get a pic, then dh can put that in my siggy as well! My bloodwork for the beta and progesterone/estrogen check is today (Tuesday). I realized I was CRAZY to try to make it all the way up there the day before thanksgiving, then all the way down to my mom's. Neither place is that far (like 30 min or so), but Atlanta has notoriously bad traffic! So we're going to the further away office 8 am this morning to get it over and done with. If my levels are good and I'm lucky, we may even have our ultrasound as early as this weekend!!!! My plans for hiding being pregnant during thanksgiving are a little complicated, since DH and I are going over there today or tomorrow and staying until sunday. I'm going to wear baggy clothes. I'm taking all the food I've been craving over there under the guise of being on a diet (which I am, but its my pregnancy 5-6 meals a day diet! ). Now my parents DO know that I'm on medicine for my PCOS, and that if I eat the wrong foods it comes out one way or the other (sad but true!), so I plan on blaming the metformin for any morning sickness! And if they notice that I'm a little more pouchy (which I am, but I haven't gained a pound! then its simply because we had early thanksgiving celebrations with our friends. Last year we celebrated thanksgiving with our friends the weekend before, so that shouldn't be suspicious to them. As soon as we get there I'm going to tell them it's my 4th thanksgiving in the past week, which is true, but of course that's not why I'm pouchy! . I've got a fairly toned body shape, so things sticking out unproportionally tend to be a bit more noticeable. A lot of James Bond stuff, but it's totally worth it to see the looks on their faces when they open those little blue Tiffany boxes on Christmas. We thought of just telling them at Thanksgiving, but 1) we didn't want to run into the issue of who to tell first (them or dh's parents), and 2) last Thanksgiving we told them we got married... er.. a month after it happened! : . So they'll be on the lookout this Thanksgiving waiting for more news. We thought it'd be funny to tell them on xmas instead! . That and DH's dad & stepmom will be there, so no one feels bad for not finding out first!

So sunday I got to go to a baby fair! It was a lot of fun, got to meet some mamas from mdc, and even met a few people that had babies where we're planning to give birth. So that was super exciting! Well I've got to get some rest in. Happy holidays to everyone!
