contours out of prefolds???

I have a ton of prefolds laying around that would swallow my girls... can I make contours or fitteds out of them?

Instead of pinning or Snappi-ing them, you could just tri-fold them and lay them in a close-fitting cover.

If you want to make contours out of them, just cut them into an hourglass shape to fit in the diaper cover and serge or faux-serge the edges. You can make "pre-fitteds" out of them by putting elastic along the "leg sides" and adding "tabs" to fasten with hook & loop tape or a pin. There are tutorials for making contour dipes and for making "pre-fitteds" in the first sticky
