Hi ladies. Sorry that I've been out of the loop. We had planned for a homebirth, but our little baby decided that she wanted to go breech, so I had a c-section . . . then everything went crazy. Dh is so precious with Aili, just kissing her up all the time and talking so sweetly. I know EXACTLY why other people say that having a child makes you fall in love with your husband all over again.

So, I'm starting to feel more normal now, still a little achy in the belly, but I was able to go on a 6 block walk the other day without feeling exhausted.

Aili had her first pediatrician's app't yesterday. She was 10 days old and gained 1 lb 3 oz!! Maybe its from all the sugar water they were pumping into her at the hospital, but I don't know; the girl LOVES to eat!
