Food Relatedness?

I have been reading a lot and have seen messages where there are comments posted on food relatedness/ CROSS REACTIVITY by which I mean, someone wrote recently like peanuts are realted to fenugreek so if you are allergic to peanuts then avoid fenugreek as well & peanuts are related to peas.

I was thinking of asking about this and probably using the collective knowledge of making a sticky of other such food relatedness information.
If there is a post on this already then we should make it a sticky to highlight the possible mistakes many of us might be making.
Any references/books/links would also be appreciated.

so my research linky-

Fenugreek is a member of the same family of plants as peas, peanuts, and soybeans.

Thank u

bananas, avocados and latex are related (and several other thing, I just can't remember.)

fenugreek, acacia, beans, soy, green peas and peanuts are all related. acacia is used in some medications as an inactive ingredient (my dd reacted to it through breastmilk in a medication I took )

ok
I found a link for that-

http://www.food-allergens.de/forum/forum.htm#Cucumber

cross- reactivity between cucurbitaceae fruits / vegetables (e.g., watermelon, melon, cucumber) and banana has been reported. Scince banana is known as part of so-called "latex-fruit syndrome" (latex associated fruits: avocado, banana, chestnut, fig, kiwi, mango, melon, papaya, passion fruit, peach, pineapple, tomato), it is likely, that cucumber is also associated to latex in some individuals.
