Any book junkies?

So...continuing my post about me being bored, waiting for peanuts arrival, I confess to being a total book junkie. I read EVERYTHING, and when I'm on a roll like I am now, I read a book about every other day.

Recently my mom sent me a book exchange in the mail. Think pyramid scheme, only totally legal. She sent me a letter with directions. Basically I stuck one book in the mail to the address enclosed (a used book, something I had on my shelf that I enjoyed), and then I sent out 6 letters to book loving friends for them to do the same. In the end I should receive a total of 36 books from around the country.

I have a couple of friends who either are too busy or are not interested. If anyone is interested in participating, PM me.

I can't wait to sit in my rocker, bfing my peanut with a book in hand.

I love books and to read, however I have no one I could send it to that would respond. That's what sux! I also hardly have a chance to read anymore...maybe in my downtime this time around I can start back! Once I get into a book it goes pretty fast!
Enjoy it though!! How cool!

That sounds cool but I am in Germany so won't work for me.
My library card expired a while ago and I haven't been able to afford to renew it (yes, we have to pay here). Of course, I had already read most of the decent books in English anyway...

I also love to read, but am not so much in the mood for actual books. Although I did finally finish one called "EAT!PRAY!LOVE!: By: Elizabeth Gilbert
I highly recommend it. I'm also reading "The Secret", but I'm not so into it. I don't seem to have the patience for books right now. But I did just borrow a ton of Mothering magazines from my friend StacyG (thanks Stac) and I'm really enjoying reading diff. articles here and there. I really need to order it for myself. Do you get Mothering Mag?

I do get Mothering Mag and enjoy it. But, I love books. We don't have a television subscription, and I have always found books a great way for me to escape and relax.
