Hey there,

Tonight DS (19 months) and I had pasta with a tomato pesto I made. The pesto was raw, and consisted mostly of our garden tomatoes (also had a bit of spinach and garlic). I took off DS' shirt so he wouldn't get it all tomato-y, and he dropped some noodles on his stomach while eating. Suddently he really started to cry and paw at his stomach. I started to clean him up and noticed that there was a red rash all over his belly! Patches of red, raised bumps. It's been a few hours and the rash is still there.

Does this indicate an allergy? Is it possible that he is only allergic to raw tomatoes?

I need to do some eliminating, I think. He has been a terrible sleeper since birth and it just seems to be getting worse. Plus he is chronically constipated, no matter what we try. Also has excema behind his knees. I tried doing a dairy elimination when he was younger, but didn't go so far as looking at the ingredients in crackers etc, so it was likely useless. Any suggestions or help as far as all this is concerned would really be appreciated!!!

Thanks,
Erin
