I was wondering how I can go about finding someone that can make some diapers for us? I can sew but not "that" good!

If you are looking for suggestions I would recommend Sumbuns. She can be found on Hyena Cart and LiveJournal. I love her diapers.

If you can sew, even if not well, I would suggest trying to make your own. You can start with regular velcro and elastic from the store, and use old t-shirts etc to practice on. It is VERY easy.

I agree with checking the WAHM-diapers on hyenacart (and not just 'cause I have one ) but also, : to Jenlaana's suggestion. It's not difficult to sew diapers, even if you've never sewn anything before in your life. There are a ton of free patterns available, and lots of great step-by-step tutorials (all of the ones which I am aware of are collected in the first sticky at the top of this "Diaper Making" subforum).

I think that turnign prefolds into fitted diaps is the easiest project to start with. All it takes is very, very basic skills with a sewing machine or serger. Instructions are in the sticky. (Plus I think they are cute and pretty cheap).

I made my own dipes. They were the 1st real things I ever sewed. Plus if you get stuck the ladies on here are really helpful. Making them is a lot of fun. I now see diapers everywhere I look

It's not that hard to sew your own diapers. If you can operate a sewing machine, you should be able to sew your own diapers without much trouble. The Diapers Sew Darling patterns are good to start on. The patterns are PDF, so she emails them to you and there are lots of pics in the instructions.

I am going to try these, look REALLY easy and I am a total begiiner, I amke MT;s and that is it so I think I cna do this!
