Oh wow really! I am going to buy 1 from that women in S. Korea, but the plainer striped variety. Thats a shame they couldnt fit you, did they only have the kitty designs? LOL...yeah, Koreans are big w/ the kitschy fabrics...
I bettcha you could make a chunei w/ said Amy Butler fabric...I know several mamas who have made them, they dont seem *that* hard to make, esp if your good w/ sewing and making DIY stuff.

Whats funny is, I went back w/ Ibi in my Psling in a hip carry and we went into a different part of the museum this time-the anthropology floor- and walked through the various exhibits and I did scoot him to my back for much of the walking around on that floor...and NOONE said anything...AND there were guards around.

Some speculations on my part...
I guess, perhaps the part we were in the first time drew more kids and so the guards like to be dorks...verses the anthro floor gets less kids. Or perhaps they *assume* a mother w/ a baby on her back wont be able to see whats behind her and might bump into stuff OR the baby will grab at stuff. Um...yeah. I know...like please, when you back carry you get a much better sense of whats going on around you...Or maybe they fear your child will drop out and get hurt.
I honestly...dont know...tis only speculations...but now I know, in the future, I wil use a RS and just do the scoot to the back thing.

Donno if anyone knows this...but there is another mom, based in Korea who is selling other brands of chunei, along w/ other Korean babycarriers like the modern podaegi, traditional podaegi, ring sling and baby poncho.
