Lucy Simone has arrived!!

Lucy Simone made her grand appearance on Saturday at 12:59am weighing 7 lbs and measuring 20 and 1/4 inches.

She is currently in the NICU due to passing some meconium in utero. She was extubated today and is doing well, but is looking at a week in the NICU for IV antibotics. I am pumping....pumping...pumping and hoping my milk comes in quickly. We hope to start feedings tomorrow. Luckily my sister was able to pump some breast milk and freeze it for her until mine comes in.

I was able to hold her for the first time this afternoon and I am IN LOVE....just a little heart sore that I am home and she is not. Please send up a prayer for my little one.

Blessings to all mama's holding their little ones and especially to those still waiting to meet their babes.

***Update***

Lucy is still in NICU, but has improved by leaps and bounds. She is nursing like a champ. My milk came in today so I am able to provide her milk. I am counting down the days until she is discharges...I am hopeful for Friday.

I love the names.

I hope that your baby girl is home soon, and I can't wait to see the pics and read the story.

Yay for another September Lucy! My Lucy Campbell ____ was born on 9/9/07 (still haven't managed to get her story/pics up but hopefully soon!). Congratulations!
