DD is intolerant to wheat so she and I don't eat it, but DH does. We have a grain mill that I use frequently to grind GF flours, and I'd like to use the same mill to grind wheat as well since fresh ground flour has more nutrients in it than unrefrigerated store-bought WW flour. I was thinking that I would only grind the wheat once a month (to minimize potential contamination), and that I would run some white rice through afterwards to hopefully clean out the grinder. I would then throw out the rice flour. I can clean most of it with water, but not the grinding mechanism itself. Does that sound like it would work well enough? DD isn't terribly sensitive to wheat but I don't want to have to worry about what she is reacting to since she has loads of food intolerances and I want to do a dairy trial soon.
