I just got back from camping for 8 days and I CDd the whole time. I had doubts I would be able to CD for so long, with all the handwashing and all, but I did it! I used CPFs all day and Liz's Cloth at night. Both were easy to wash and quick to dry. Ahhhh, I my CDs!

Thanks mammas!

I felt so good knowing washing my dipes by hand and then hanging them out to dry. The firsttime I hung them up to dry, Istepped back and thought "now that just looks so pretty!". LOL, maybe I am just nuts.

Christi - Good Luck and let us know how it goes! I was a little hesitent at first, being such a long trip, but it is a lot easier than I thought.

Heather - Thanks for all the great tips you gave me! I ended up using the Lavender Doc Bronners and it was perfect!

Yep, we love Bronner's for camping - a variety of uses! I like the Peppermint for the smell, but the Aloe Vera Baby Mild for the diapers.

Thanks for the compliment. A mamma I know from another board made one for me and I fell in love with it. So I talked her into making them for the site.

I love Bronner's too. We use it for just about everything. My DHs fave is the Peppermint (I am a sucker for the almond) and he wanted to bring it, but all I could think of is how it tingles. So I opted for the Lavender. I kept a tub full of water with some of MAJiC Mama's washing greens in it, then rinsed at the end of the day and washed in the Bronners.

Ain't that the truth!
The people a few sites down from us were using sposies and had their trash raided in the middle of the night. One more reason to use cloth: no picking up pieces of shredded poo poo diaper after the animals attack. :LOL
