Bad bumper sticker - Page 3

LOL! Shows how smart they are! Babies have been delivered at home long before pizza!

i didnt read all the replies, but what i dont understand is why people care where you homebirth-ers give birth? Well, OBs care because hey, less money for them, but what about the general population? I'll never understand that.

Im personally having a hospital birth, because im more comfortable that way (well, a hospital birthing center), but i think homebirthing is very admirable, and how does where you have your child affect me? One way I can think of-- less people to worry about taking up beds in my birth center, lol.

Oh this just gets my panties in a bunch. (sorry if the p-word bothers you.)

Seriously though, let's get those "homebirth is for babies" stickers to the presses!

I'll bet that only OB's have anti home birth bumper stickers. Why would anyone else care?

People are so weird. I always wonder why people waste their time and energy AGAINST something somebody else does. Why not focus their time and energy FOR something that will affect them personally?

I guess in Holland they don't eat pizza. That might explain why about half of births happen at home there. I wonder if anyone's gone and told the Dutch that pithy comment?

Look, I know vandalism is "wrong" but this is what I would have done to that bumper sticker.

Oh my GOODNESS!!!!! How discouraging to know this. Sometimes I wonder how we natural mammas are going to save the world from these misguided people who think they are in charge of our lives and health. ???

If anyone is delivering anything to/at my house it better be a pizza. I birth the baby myself, thank-you-very-much. I don't mind someone else "catching" but there will be no "delivering" here.
: It drives me nuts when people say my dh delivered our kids...and I make a point of saying I "birthed" at home/my dh "caught" the baby/etc. when people ask who "delivered." *sigh* It's kind of like the whole "breastmilk is better" thing. We've got to change the vocabulary...women birth, formula is worse, etc. (and no offense to anybody who uses it, but I get so tired of using formula as the "norm" and breastmilk as "better" and "healthier." Just as I get sick of babies being "delivered.") Blah blah, I hope I'm preaching to the choir

: You've got to be kidding...doesn't anybody practice evidence-based medicine anywhere anymore??!!
