nonibradshaw: I don't predict gender, you do! I've just been keeping track of mama's guesses, and whether they were right There is a woman over here who has been predicting for other mamas; so far she's been right 8 out of 9 times! Let me know your guess!
Another girl for us! And even though I felt from the bottom of my heart that we would have been just as happy to have a boy, I am so glad that dd gets a sister! And that we get to reuse all the clothes that our daughter has used is an extra bonus. So we are very happy!
With your early u\s did you see the 3 lines...or just no boy parts..
Also how far along were you with the first u\s
I was 12w1d at the first one, and we did see three very clear lines. I compared what we saw with every gender shot I could stand to look at and was sure (along with assurance from the u/s tech that she was pretty certain) that Smidge was a girl. But I've felt boy since 7 weeks, and dreamed about baby boys a bunch of times. I wasn't surprised at all, even though I had myself nearly convinced based on the first ultrasound. Here's the shot from today showing definite boy parts.
I was convinced that DH and I were going to have a girl.
We had our US today and "Boy" were we wrong! It turns out that we'll be having a baby boy at the end of March. From the US he seems to be very healthy. We couldn't be happier, but after months of being convinced that we were having a girl it is taking a bit of mental adjustment. This was a wonderful surprise for us and I think that we're even more excited about now about the pregnancy than ever before.
