Postpartum visit to MW........

So, I need to call and make my PP visit appointment....been meaning to but just haven't yet...

I don't know who to make it with...

The MW I've had for 4.5 years who is disappointed she missed the delivery bc she was out of town (wasn't on call again until a few days after my due date) and who I had really really wanted there.....

OR

The MW who was there for the delivery.......as more of an observer and who helped with the stubborn placenta and a few single stiches here and there.....Who was just fantastic.....

I REALLY want to see both of them but they both don't work on the same day and I can't afford 2 visits.....

How do I decide?? I need to call today so I can get an evening appointment in 2-3 weeks...

I think I'd personally go with the MW who was present for the birth mainly because she knows exactly how the birth went and it'll be easier to talk about how things are going? I don't really know... You can always visit the MW you've had for awhile to share your birth story and show off your babe

That's true....and that's what I have been thinking.....

The MW I really wanted there does work on some saturdays until noon so I thought I would stop by and say howdy with the babe and the framed placenta print we are bringing her (she wanted one....to put with the first one of dd1)....

I still need to share the whole story here.......

Ok, I went ahead and made it......and am gonna try and stop in and see my FAVE mw this saturday as she won't be back working saturdays until end of november and dd won't be so tiny then....lol
