This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

He could be coming down with a virus, there have been a lot of sick kids around here already. And you know how fast kids can go from being fine to being sick and feverish! So hopefully it's just a coincidence.
I hope he's feeling better soon!!

swe had the same thing yesterday - no IV though, but nitrous oxide and novocaine. All day dd is pretty much fine, wasn't quite clear as to when novocaine wore off but no biggie - except her lip was swollen, either because she bit it while it was numb or maybe some side effect of the novocaine??? I don't know but I didnt worry ... till just before bed she felt hot. I didnt take temp but she looked pretty out of it and I worried about whether she had some reaction to the novocaine, some infection from the procedure, or lowered resistance and therefore caught a cold. But I gave her some water, opened the window a crack and we went to sleep. She was fine this morning. So far, so good. keep our fingers crossed. We have to go back next week and do this again <sigh>

My dentist told me a fever is not normal after procedure. So either, 1) he is coming down with something anyway or 2) his gums got infected from the crowns being put on. I would see how he is tomorrow and go from there.

OT:
Is it his top molar or bottom molar?
My 3 yo is getting one on his first top molar next Friday. My 9 yo has one on one of her top molars, maybe the second one. I've never noticed that one. I'm not sure how much I'll notice my 3 yo's one. I never noticed the cavity there so I guess I don't see that tooth much.
To the OP: Glad your little guy is doing better today!
