HELP! Another "Natural Induction Methods" Thread-

Thread Starter
So, I'm overdue and have to head back to night school in OCTOBER so this little one needs to come out so I have some rest and bonding time...

It seems I've tried everything in the "books"-

EXTRA spicy food (i.e. grilled jalapenos!)
Pineapple
Sex
Walking
Wine
Acupressure
and probably quite a few more...
(I don't think I'm willing to try CO or other extreme methods)

I've nested and now I'm just plain NERVOUS she won't be out by the time my maternity leave is over. I had to take part of the leave at the beginning of my pg because of HG and had to take the rest of the leave early because I was too tired to do massage anyway. They only allow a certain amount of maternity leave days and mine are almost up... I'm desperate to get her out on time. I know I should be patient and let her come in her own due time...but since I'm overdue and have school and other things to attend to (coming up quick) it makes it very stressful and hard to relax...

Any suggestions??? I'm desperate.

you could try nipple stim if you have a pump......

or

sweep the membranes........it didn't work for me 3 years ago but i have many friends who it worked for and their ob's weren't aggressive with it...just a gentle short and sweet nudge....it worked for 4 out of 6 of them....

i hope babe comes soon for you.......

No real advice...just praying he/she comes soon for you! Keep doing all of those other things too!

CO isn't that bad...if you do it right (and don't OVER do it...mix it with ice cream, NOT juice...)

prayers and labor vibes!!

What about homeopathics? I have heard you can get things going with homeopathic blue cohosh. I can't remember the name of the remedy though.
