Yes, I watched my mom give birth to my baby brother when i was 14 My mom thought by watching her give birth it would freak me out and keep me from having sex for a while...it didn't work It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life and i would love to be able to witness it again. She didn't even think i'd actually watch but i just pulled the rocking chair to the end of the bed and watched with wonder.

One day my sister announced she was pregnant. Next day, I watched my nephew's birth. Cried and laughed. After 5 years, I still cannot believe it.

Well, yeah, I'm a doula BUT...

a long time prior to becoming a doula, when I was in high school, a friend asked me to attend her birth. It was amazing. I knew then and there that I wanted to do birth work.

I'm always so honored to attend births. I really wish I could attend a homebirth though. Hospital births can be very disenheartening.

I personally haven't-but I'm very sensitive and I think I'd pass out! It's weird to think about, considering that I've given birth twice.

I watched my nephews born in 97 and 2001 and my niece in 2004. The first 2were vaginal and the 3rd Cesarean. They were all special, but nothing beat the first one.
