So, yesterday afternoon I got the "sense of urgency" to get things done. I had mild crampy type contractions start up. Last night I walked the mall and they were 2-3 minutes apart lasting only 30-45 seconds. When I got home they slowed down. I rested and went to bed...waking a few times from them and going potty. Not too serious. Last night and this morning I was SO SORE....my pelvis/vagina were achy! I did not want to talk to anybody this morning...wanted to be left ALONE! So I know something is goign on. Dh rubbed out my back/sacrum, etc b/c the low crampy contractions had moved from the front to the back. Then we napped and it all stopped! I'm ok with things going slow and easy, but being over 41 weeks it'd be nice if active labor wanted to start. I don't want to do anything like stipping membrances or castor oil b/c I want things to move forward the way baby wants. Especially having a HBA2C!!! I'm so excited to birth vaginally and meet this baby. I can't wait to find out if my babe is a boy or girl!

Here's hoping labor kicks in and you have a gentle peaceful birth. Sending lots of love your way! Nothing like finding out what your little baby is once its in your arms. It was an exciting moment for us. I hope you are holding your wee one soon.

Well I am very VERY proud of you for being so patient. I'm impressed with your will to let babe come on it's own. Good for you. I do hope labor starts for you soon though and I am def. sending you the good vibes!

Thanks ya'all! I have had a few contractions this evening, but nothing big. I was telling dh that I would like active labor to kick in in the next day or two so this doesn't end up wearing me out! We'll see.

Stacyg and Jamie...I do understand how hard it is to be patient. I have been telling myself positive affirmations ALL DAY to remind me of all the hard work and positive thinking I've had this whole pregnancy. I don't want to get too impatient at the end, ykwim? So hard!

Susan...that's gonna be a riot! I have always wondered what it'd be like to hang out having 3 kids of my own and a friend w/just as many! Ok, we'll have to hang out on our preschool days!: I hope labor kicks in for you soon too...I know you have been going crazier than me!

I went to a nice dinner w/dh and now I'm going to relax (ok, maybe get it on to get things moving...then relax) and see what happens!

It has all STOPPED! : I have to laugh or as you know I'll go crazy. I guess I'm getting what I wanted though...an easy warm up to an awesome fast labor! Hang in there w/me!

I'm having the same attitude as you...you have to laugh or...welll you know...

I'm having contractions on and off so maybe we're all going to have easy warm-ups to awesome fast labors!!! That's what I'm going to start saying...

I was due around the 12th. I keep thinking this babe has to show him/herself this weekend. 42 weeks is starting to seem too long! The babe has to come out sometime, right? I have to keep reminding myself of this...sounds silly.
